We spent this past Saturday volunteering at the Patroon Land Farm. The Farm runs a CSA and donates fresh vegetables to our local food bank. The farm is run by two full time employees and a random amounts of volunteers. The volunteer base is set up by the food bank and not always available at the most needed times. It was a wonderful day. We planted lettuce transplants, did lots of weeding and picked a pickup truck full of squash and zucchini!
