First, here’s an update on the bump progress. 25 Weeks!
Our walls are painted a greenish/grayish/bluish color. It all depends on the light at the time. Our nursery furniture came from overstock.com and is this set
It became out of stock the day after we ordered so I was thankful we made the decision when we did! I really wanted a new crib to be sure I was up to date on the current safety standards. Cribs and Car seats change so much! They are my few requirements for new when it comes to the baby.
The bassinet will move into our room once the baby is born. It was done by my grandfather and my mom used it for my brother and I when we were babies. The rocking chair is also from my childhood. My mom got it for her baby shower when she was pregnant with me!
I didn’t originally plan on having a changing table but we felt the price was reasonable for the set that it came in. I hope we actually get some use out of it though! The chalk board on the wall was originally from our wedding.
The closet is pretty sparse, but I’ve started to prewash the cloth diapers!
Over here we have a stand in for now. We are getting a salt water fish tank from my uncle which will be going in this spot. The tank is the same width but taller than this one is. I’m a little nervous about saltwater but for free we figured it was worth a shot. Any advice??
Here is the crib. Please note we do not know the sex of the baby. Blue sheets are purely because that was what was available at the store!

The curtains are made from the burlap table runners we used for our wedding. Jon’s mom sewed them together into two panels for me. I plan to make some little tie backs in the near future.
So that’s our work in progress version of the nursery. There is no real theme but of course we love gardening and farm stuff so that is incorporated. Once it is finished I’ll give an update!
Okay, it’s kind’ve eerie how alike our nurseries are.
I have the same set from Overstock (what a deal!) and a similar cradle (same wood and used to be my MIL’s). We’ll be putting a traditional rocking chair in there as well, once my husband gets around to assembling it. It was bought by my FIL in Nicaragua on a mission trip back in the early 90′s. You have good taste.

Love it!! The furniture looks great! I didn’t want a changing table either but it’s so nice for keeping cloth diapers organized!
I love it! It might not have a theme, but it certainly is filled with love.
